Zucchini, courgette, and fiori di zucca, the flowers of summer squash (zucchini) are a spectacular Italian summer bounty: gorgeous colors, delicate taste, spectacular when battered and fried 😋 … and yes, they are edible flowers!
These bright orange blossoms are available in a very short season, unless you’re fortunate to live in a warm climate – as we do here in Italy – and you can still enjoy it till the end of September.
