#EatParade :: Baked Mackerel with Orange and… #FishFriday

#FishFriday with some gorgeous Instagram seafood pics for a healthy Friday. Today we serve mackerel.

A firm-fleshed, oil-rich fish with an iridescent silver and blue striped skin. Fortunately it’s one of few fish stocks not currently at risk from over-fishing.
Mackerel is a delicious nutritious fish, with intense creamy meat packed with omega-3 fatty acids, can be served grilled, fried, barbecued or poached and is perfect for stuffing and oven-baking; also as sushi and sashimi. Here are some recipes from breakfast smoked mackerel kedgeree to beetroot marinated mackerel for dinner.

Here are the picks, it shows how versatile and diffuse across the world cuisines the mackerel is.
