I remember consulting the geography book with some apprehension. “As a border with the Adriatic Sea, the Marche, Lazio and Molise regions”. Molise??? I only read it once and then it disappeared from the map … surely an hallucination due to anxiety.

The fact is that my future was shaping up as towards a black hole. I was about to be swallowed up by the twilight zone”
